About Me
My name is Lauren - I’m a product designer with 4+ years of experience distilling the complex and ambiguous into useable, visually stunning products in heavily regulated and high-trust environments like - the Center of Medicare & Medicaid Services.
Recently when consulting for federal agencies, I:
Led design and research initiatives for the General Services Administration (GSA), the federal agency responsible for government-wide property management and procurement - creating a 43% drop in help tickets directly freeing up 10 hours a week for help desk employees.
Designed a finance dashboard that Dept. of State executives used to address Congress to secure funding for critical initiatives such as modernizing the Dept. of State
Conducted 30+ user interviews with US Air Force members to improve the UI of their workforce management platform.
Led design efforts on contracts worth $82.4 million for Defense and Logistics Agency, pushing AI centric designs that helped users figure out best course of action based on current national and international events.
For my next role, I seek to make an impact on people's day-to-day lives through healthcare, health tech, or finance industries!
